Our summer intensive is an opportunity to rejuvenate your movement practice and dance into the summer! Let's move together and embrace a joyful and mindful physicality through these in-person classes and explorations, with live streaming options.
You can pick up to two of our three tracks – The Creative Practice Track, The Creative Learning Track or The Morning Track.
The Morning Track or Drop-In Classes offer the opportunity to attend classes each morning, or pick the days that work best for your schedule.
Each morning begins with a rotating menu of movement - Jazz, West African Dance, Yoga and Bollyfusion; followed by a modern dance class taught by Attack Theatre’s Artistic Director Michele de la Reza, Marc Spaulding and company members. All classes will be in-person only.
In the afternoon, participants can choose one of two tracks - whether as a performer or a teaching artist or educator (in-person only).
The Creative Practice Track is led by Co-founder and Artistic Director Peter Kope with company members Isabella Bergamin, Lydia Clinton, Miranda Nichols, Ethan Gwynn, and Sarah Zielinski.
The Creative Learning Track is led by Attack Theatre’s Hope Anthony and Michele de la Reza and offers strategies for integrating dance and kinesthetic learning into a variety of learning environments. Act 48 credit is available.
Afternoon sessions are in-person only.

The afternoon Creative Practice Track offers workshops in contemporary partnering, improvisation, creative process, and repertory. Taught by Attack Theatre’s Co-Artistic Directors, Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza, along with company dancers and guest artists, these workshops prioritize process, personal expression, and creative play.*includes all morning sessions

Led by the Arts Education team including Education Associate and Lead Teaching Artist Hope Anthony, these informative and experiential workshops focus on fostering student collaboration, critical analysis, communication, and creativity to enhance teaching and learning.*Act 48 credit offered AND INCLUDES ALL MORNING CLASSES

The afternoon Creative Learning Track offers strategies for embedding movement and kinesthetic learning into the K-12 learning environment. Led by the Arts Education team including Education Associate and Lead Teaching Artist Hope Anthony, these informative and experiential workshops focus on fostering student collaboration, critical analysis, communication, and creativity to enhance teaching and learning.*Dancers as well as classroom, PE, and arts educators who are looking for new teaching strategies may also take this afternoon only track. *Act 48 credit offered
The Morning Track: Monday, June 12 - Friday, June 16 | 9:30 am–12:15 pm (EDT)
The Morning Track offers access to the full week of rotating movement classes including yoga, improvisation, jazz, ballet, and Bollywood fusion; followed by dynamic classes in modern dance taught by Attack Theatre’s Artistic Director Michele de la Reza and company members.
